We have multiple approaches to treating addiction and alcoholism, all with proven and successful track records. Quality treatment does not have a one-size-fits-all approach and our programs are tailored to your needs.
TREATMENT OPTIONS FOR ANY SITUATION
If you are in need of treatment for addiction, we have a level of care specifically for you:
- DRUG & ALCOHOL DETOX
The first step in recovering from addiction is to complete a medically monitored detox protocol. Facilities are properly equipped to safely & comfortably manage any drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms that you or your loved one may be experiencing. - RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT
Our inpatient treatment program is an intensive and structured program in a home-like environment. Our residences offer semi private rooms and shared living and recreation areas. We utilize a full medical staff and psychiatric care is available. - INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT PROGRAM
IOP is a step-down level of care for individuals who have completed detox and residential, so they can continue to receive the support of treatment programming while residing without the need of 24 hour supervision.
OUR TREATMENT PROCESS
Substance use disorder is characterized by experiences of isolation and separation. Upon your arrival you will be welcomed into a community founded on the principles of kindness and mutual aid. At Vermont Treatment Center this is more than just a concept, as in any true community individuals may serve different roles, however all are valued and important. For us this extends beyond the usual conceptions of staff and client, as we are all equal members of our shared experience. We believe that it is these shared values of kindness, service, mutual responsibility that form the foundation of a community.
At the heart of our process is a commitment to one’s own recovery. As an individual begins to assume greater influence in our community they will begin to consummate a deeper commitment to themselves and their well-being. Authenticity, transparency, and engagement go hand in hand during this phase of growth, and ultimately lead a client to a deeper sense of connection to themselves, their community, and the world.
For many individuals substance use disorder lays waste to much, if not all, of what makes life worthwhile. A period of reconstruction is necessary. As our connection to the world and ourselves begins to awaken us to the possibilities of a better future, we need to look inward and develop the skills necessary to reintegrate into life. Commitment, resilience, and determination are what will be required of us if we are to continue the transformation which has already begun.
